Lessons

Craft & Sew Studio offers private lessons to students age 9 through adult.

Work on the project of your choice and learn the techniques of your choice including machine sewing, hand sewing, knitting, pattern-making, pattern alteration, draping, and more. Learn on our machines before you commit to buying your own, or bring in your machine and learn how to use it (or use it better). We also dispense plenty of advice (and lists) during lessons on buying a sewing machine and tools and choosing patterns and fabrics.

Pricing

We offer discounted package pricing on prepaid Lesson Packs.

  • Pay-per-lesson price: $35/hour
  • 5-Hour Lesson Pack: $157.50 (10% discount)
  • 10-Hour Lesson Pack: $297.50 (15% discount)
  • 15-Hour Lesson Pack: $420 (20% discount)

Double lessons (two students together, doing similar projects) are available and we offer Double Lessons Packs as well (the following prices are total for both students, not each):

  • Pay-per-double-lesson price: $50/hour
  • 5-Hour Double Lesson Pack: $225 (10% discount)
  • 10-Hour Double Lesson Pack: $425 (15% discount)
  • 15-Hour Double Lesson Pack: $600 (20% discount)


Lesson Pack Pricing is only available with prepayment. Lesson Pack purchase does not reserve a weekly time slot. Lesson Pack hours have flexible distribution (ie, a 5-hour pack does not necessarily have to be 5 one-hour lessons). We currently have a variety of time slots available.
