New Fall Classes! Yay!

Aug 12

I’ve been out of the loop for a couple weeks, and I’ll post about why sometime next week.  But I have been working hard on putting together my fall class list for y’all!  Check it out here!

It’s going to be a fun semester.  Here are some highlights…

Sewing 102: Aprons4 weeks, Wednesday 6:30-9:00 pm, October 5-26.  I haven’t offered a beginner class since the winter, and I know some of you have been waiting for this one.  Here are some beautiful examples of the apron we make in this class…

I’m giving you guys a great variety of intermediate-level garment classes this fall: Sewing 301: Dresses and Sewing 401: Winter Coats!  I’m also introducing a new class–Sewing 304: Basic Pattern Alteration, for those of you who are ready to start tweaking the size, shape, and details on your favorite garment patterns.  I’ll be offering an advanced pattern alteration class next winter or spring so you can continue on if you like.  Here are examples of dresses students have made:

And of course, I’m offering the tried-and-true standby classes: Sewing 302: Modern QuiltsKnitting 101: The BasicsKnitting 201: Knitting in the Round, and Learn to Knit for Kids.  Here are pics from two quilting classes last winter…

As always, classes have a minimum of two and maximum of four students and you can sign up online or by contacting me.  I can’t wait to see everyone in class!  I’m so excited to see what you make this fall :) .
